Born in 2000, Spanish violinist Patricia Cordero excels as a versatile artist, recognized for her solo and chamber music performances. She has won top prices in international violin competitions, including the 2nd prize at the XXV Andrea Postacchini International Violin Competition and 1st prize at the VIII Premio Francesco Geminiani, as well as string quartet prices, such as the EMCY Prize at Juventudes Musicales de España Chamber Music Competition.

Patricia earned her Bachelor and Master's degrees from the Reina Sofía School of Music in Madrid, guided by Professors Marco Rizzi and Sergey Teslya. She was honoured twice by Queen Sofia for excellence in violin and chamber music. She has performed as a soloist with Spanish orchestras led by conductors such as David Afkham, Lucas Macías, Jordi Francés, and Hansjörg Schellenberger. She performed Bach Concerto for Two Violins with Anne-Sophie Mutter and the Viesgo Chamber Orchestra at Sony Auditorium in Madrid. A keen chamber musician, Patricia has collaborated with notable artists, such as Nobuko Imai, Rainer Schmidt, Ivan Monighetti, and members of the Berliner Philharmoniker and the Casals Quartet.

Since 2017, she has been part of the Asisa Quartet, mentored by Heime Müller. She has participated in academies and festivals across Europe, including Gstaad String Academy, Eggenfelden Klassich, Lucca Classica, Villars Music Academy, Allegro Vivo, Ticino Musica, Santander Encuentro, Granada Festival and Pau Casals Festival, attending masterclasses with Nora Chastain, Kolja Blacher, Mihaela Martin and Krzysztof Wegrzyn, among others. Since September 2023, Patricia has joined the Academy of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra (BRSO) in Munich.

In season 2024, she will collaborate with Albéniz trio for all new engagements.
